2021 Prime Day Calendar of Events

Amazon Advertising works best for you when you take advantage of exclusive promotions. Prime Day is approaching so consider some of these time frames and plan your campaign accordingly.

Hopefully, you and your brand have already began sourcing Prime Exclusive Discounts. These discount are a great way to drive sales for products that are exclusive to Prime Members. On Prime Day, Prime Exclusive Discounts will display a Prime Day Deals badge.

The deadline to submit Lightning Deals is right around the corner, April 16. Lightning deals are a type of promotion in which a limited number of price discounts are offered for a short period. They are time-sensitive so customers must complete the order as soon as possible. If you want to submit Lightning Deals in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey, the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Australia, the deadline is April 23.

Also on April 16, the Prime Member Promotions sign-up ends in the US, Canada, and Mexico. They end April 23 in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, India, and Australia. This is an exclusive promotion that is a point of sale discount and widely used across all retail in the Amazon Marketplace. The offers created with this promotion are a part of Amazon Prime Day and Today’s Deal page and display a Prime Day Deals badge.

Between May 20 and June 13 inbound shipping is cutoff for vendors so make sure that Deal inventory is in transit. For the US and Canada the cutoff is May 20. In India, cutoff is May 30. Australia and Mexico cutoff is June 1. On June 6, Deal inventory for the UK, Japan, the UAE, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, must be in transit. Finally, the last cutoff is for Japan on June 13.

If your brand has a coupon to submit in any of the countries listed above, the deadline is May 28. A coupon promotion is accessible on your product detail page and Amazon vouchers page. Customers click on a voucher or coupon and it is added to their basket and applied at checkout when the eligible product is purchased before coupon voucher expiration.

May 30 to June 13 is the FBA inventory cutoff date for sellers so make sure your clients shipments arrive at Amazon fulfillment centers. Comply well in advance of these dates: May 30 for India, May 31 for the US and Canada, June 1 for Australia and Mexico. June 6 for the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Turkey. June 7 for the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Finally, June 13 in Japan.
